Steve Suske
|
Steve Suske is President and CEO of Suske Capital Inc. A proven entrepreneur with over 40 years of professional experience in developing and managing businesses, Steve has overseen, led and advised over $5 billion in business transactions across a variety of sectors.
Steve is the founder of Chartwell Retirement Residences (TSX: CSH.UN), as well as Regal Lifestyle Communities Inc. which was privatized by Revera Inc. and Welltower Inc. (formerly known as Health Care REIT, Inc.) on October 26, 2015. He also founded Spectrum Seniors Housing Development Corporation. Steve was instrumental in the creation of the Delmanor Corporation, the Tridel Group seniors housing arm. He also advised Sifton Properties Limited and Villabar Real Estate Inc. on their entries into seniors housing, as well as those of many other industry participants, who established such reputable chains as Regency Care, Viva Retirement Communities and Pacific Arbour Retirement Communities. He is currently Chair of MTCO Holdings Inc., Points West Living Limited Partnership, Canoe Bay Development Inc., Chancery Seniors Housing Investments Inc., Help for Mom, High-Rise Senior Services, and 103 Street Developments. Steve graduated from the MBA program at the Richard Ivey School of Business in 1977 and maintains close ties with the business school, acting as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence since 2009. In 2017, Steve was honoured with the Ivey Distinguished Service Award, an award for alumni who have provided extraordinary service to the Ivey Business School over an extended period of time. In 2018, Ivey Business School announced the establishment of the Stephen Suske Ivey New Venture Project (INVP) Award and the Stephen Suske Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIR) Program. Back to top |
Steve Graham

Steve Graham is Senior Vice President of Suske Capital Inc. He has over 15 years' experience in architecture and real estate development. During his tenure as the Associate Vice President, Development for Chartwell Seniors Housing REIT he was involved in all aspects of the development process on the more than 40 retirement communities developed by Spectrum Seniors Housing Development Corporation.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University and his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Steve is currently the President of MTCO Holdings Inc., having overseen the development and sale of Harwood Place Seniors Residence and the stabilization and sale of Montgomery Village Seniors Residence. Elizabeth Suske
|
Elizabeth is an accomplished seniors housing professional with over 10 years’ experience in the industry serving in various capacities with increasing responsibilities for a number of different operators.
Most recently, she acted as Director, Acquisitions and Financing for Regal Lifestyle Communities Inc. where she was involved in the IPO of the company, and subsequently oversaw the portfolio’s growth from 10 properties at the time of the IPO to 23 properties by the time of Regal’s sale in October 2015. She was also responsible for Regal’s mortgage portfolio, as well as involved in Regal’s annual strategic planning. Steve D. Suske

Steve is Vice President of Suske Capital, with over 13 years’ experience in the seniors housing industry, specializing in Information Systems and Information Technology.
Prior to joining Suske Capital, Steve was Director, Information Systems at Chartwell Retirement Residences, where he implemented and managed advanced business systems to streamline property, G&A and capex budgeting, consolidated financial reporting and human capital management. Dayna Chernoff

Dayna comes to Suske Capital with many years of experience in real estate development, having worked for developers including Lifetime Developments and Mosaik Homes.
She supports the finance team on various projects in Suske Capital’s portfolio of companies including Points West Living. Dayna has a Master of Finance from Queens University, and a Bachelor of Science from York University. Back to top |
Jimmy Suske

Jimmy Suske has been a full-time Analyst on the finance team at Suske Capital since September 2017. Throughout his summers in university, Jimmy worked at Suske Capital as a Junior Analyst, starting in May 2015.
Jimmy earned a business degree from the University of Western Ontario with a specialization in finance. While at university, Jimmy was involved with the Western Investment Club where he was tasked with researching an array of potential investments. Prior to joining Suske Capital, Jimmy was part of a Junior Achievement club where he led a team that launched a small entrepreneurial business in Calgary, Alberta. Back to top |
Sukanja Senthilkumar

Sukanja is an experienced finance professional, with expertise in investment fund management including public sector exposure.
Prior to joining Suske Capital, Sukanja spent 17 years at Scotia Managed Companies, an investment fund arm of The Bank of Nova Scotia, with assets under management reaching $2.3 billion at its height comprising 24 investment funds. She held various positions including her most recent role as Senior Manager as head of the Tax group. Back to top |

Katherine Wilson

Katherine Wilson is Director of Marketing and Communications at Suske Capital. She has over 13 years of experience in marketing and web communications and has held a variety of roles including publicist, web content editor, and senior marketing associate.
Prior to joining Suske Capital, Katherine was the web content advisor at Suncor Energy and the lead content specialist for their retail websites including petro-canada.ca and petro-points.ca. Katherine has both an honours B.A. and a Certificate in Marketing from the University of Toronto. Back to top |
Collin Ng

Collin is an Associate at Suske Capital focusing on the Marketing and Communications activities for the firm and its portfolio companies. Collin has over 13 years of experience in project management, with a focus on hardware deployment, supply chain management and online communications.
Prior to joining Suske Capital, Collin was project management advisor at Suncor Energy, Canada’s largest energy producer, in their eCommunications group. Collin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University, and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute. Back to top |

Pamela Heard

Pamela Heard holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Toronto and an Honours LL.B from the University of Exeter in England. She obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto in 2009, majoring in political science and history.
Prior to completing her articles at a boutique real estate, litigation, and corporate/commercial firm in North York, Pamela worked in the litigation division of a leading intellectual property and technology law firm in Toronto. During her legal studies Pamela additionally engaged in extensive legal clinic work at Downtown Legal Services in Toronto and at Exeter County Court in England. Deanna Hodgins

Deanna is the office manager at Suske Capital. Deanna ensures the seamless day-to-day operation at Suske Capital. She's also responsible for all accounts payable and receivable.
Over the course of her career, Deanna has worked as a service representative in the telecommunications industry; an Employment Counsellor for the government; an Educational Assistant in the Halton school system as well as a Shorthand Machine Transcriptionist doing off-line captioning for the hearing impaired. Deanna holds a degree in Sociology from Western University and is also certified in QuickBooks. Back to top |
